(Currently not available, check back for availability)

Enchanted Air Paragliding provides Tandem Paragliding flights.

A Tandem Paragliding Flight takes you from the ground to over 2000 feet into the air via a payout winch tow system, we then release from tow and enjoy free flight, the entire flight lasts approximately *20 minutes, all under the direct supervision of a USHPA Advanced Tandem Instructor. You will experience a breathtaking, scenic, silent flight up into cooler air and beautiful views of the Southwest’s high desert landscape. You will be exposed to the basics of paragliding and get to learn first-hand what it is like and what it takes to be a paraglider pilot. Bring your camera on this paragliding tandem ride because you will want to share the adventure and beauty with all your friends and relatives!

In a Tandem Paragliding Instructional Flight, the Instructor pilots a glider that is designed to carry 2 persons and can support a 500 lb. payload.  A brief introduction to the techniques necessary and what “to do” and what “not to do” is done before the flight.  This is a same day experience where the instructor manages the safety and the student gets to enjoy the amazing experience of soaring in a Paraglider first hand. The instructor manages the takeoff and landing, but in the air the student pilot can take control, steer and pilot the Paraglider.  If you are going to do a Tandem Instructional Flight, it is required that you read and understand the document “Tandem – How It Works” prior to the scheduled flight lesson.

Student Pilots are also required to review and understand the training resource information available at this link: Tandem Instructional Flight Training Resources

Student Pilot passengers must be at least 18 years old, weigh less than 215 lbs. and be able to competently run a minimum of 100 feet.
